Single stick, double stick, padded sticks, tomahawk, shield and stick, plastic weapons, or flexible weapons. Any ranges, corto, largo, or knife(cqc). Come have fun and help spread the Filipino Martial Arts along with the Christmas cheer!!!!

Filipino martial arts are noted for their ability to fight with weapons or empty hands interchangeably and their ability turn ordinary items into weapons of personal protection. This art is historically and tactically significant with equal emphasis placed on combat utility, artistic expression, and day-to-day graciousness. – Guro Ben Salas

Additional information on Kali, Arnis, Eskrima, Escrima from Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eskrima

Eskrima, Escrima, Arnis, and Kali are umbrella terms for the traditional martial arts of the Philippines (“Filipino Martial Arts,” or FMA) that emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives and other bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons. It is also known as Estoque (Spanish for rapier), Estocada (Spanish for thrust or stab) and Garrote (Spanish for club). In Luzon they may go by the name of Arnis de Mano, Pananandata (use of weapons), Sinawali (Pampanga, “to weave”), Sitbatan (Pangasinan), Didya and Kabaroan (Ilocos region). In the Visayas and Mindanao, these martial arts have been referred to as eskrima, kali, kaliradman, pagaradman and kalirongan. kuntaw and silat are separate martial arts practiced in the islands.

It also includes hand-to-hand combat, joint locks, grappling and weapon disarming techniques. Although in general, emphasis is put on weapons for these arts, some systems put empty hands as the primary focus and some old school systems do not teach weapons at all.

More about WOTBAG
Teovel’s Balintawak Arnis was renowned by our late Great Grandmaster “Teofilo Velez”. He was the one who started propagating art of balintawak arnis, GM Teofilo Velez & Late GM Atty. Villasen they are the one who initiate to modify on how to teach Balintawak arnis in easiest way for students. The Velez Brothers (Chito, Eddie, Monnie) are known to be his successors and the first ever instructors of GM Teofilo Velez are his sons: Pacito “Chito” Velez, Ramon Franco “Monnie” Velez, and Eduardo “Eddie” Velez Sr.

When Late GM Teofilo Velez passed away because of cancer, Mr. Chito Velez was chosen by the members to be the New Grand Master of Teovel’s Balintawak Arnis. Few years after, the Velez Brothers continued teaching the Balintawak style of arnis. GrandMaster Monnie Velez teaches arnis at his home in Englis,Guadalupe Cebu and later at Ayala Park while GrandMaster Eddie Velez teaches arnis at one of our Headquarters in Guadalupe, Cebu. By the year 2007, the Velez Brothers regrouped. GrandMaster Monnie Velez and his students came up with the name of WOTBAG which stands for “World Original Teovel’s Balintawak Arnis Group”. With the help of Master Oliver Mag-uyon, they were able to register the group to the Secretary of Exchange Commission in order for it to be legalized and they were also able to elect new sets of officers.

Now the The Three Pillar’s( Velez Brothers ) introduced a new method of teaching, focusing on the students’ performance on flexibility, timing, speed, hitting points, defense and offense, knife fighting. They were also able to share their tactical skills by using all the knowledge they have learned during their training with their late father, Great Grandmaster Teofilo Velez which he also learned from his late mentor, Great Grandmaster Anciong Bacon, who introduced the Balintawak Style. Now we have our WOTBAG and IPMAF Balintawak Eskrima Poland Association by cooperation of Agreement by their Chairman GM Dr. Andreas Boruta as official representative of WOTBAG in Europe will help on developing and propagating WOTBAG.

Details: Come join Guro Marrese Crump as he unlocks and decodes the principles of blade and karambit.

Guru Crump’s passion for martial arts sparked the very first time he saw “Enter The Dragon”, a Bruce Lee film. As a young child, he watched and imitated Bruce Lee’s movements from the movies, as his fascination with the marital arts grew.

At the age of eight, destiny brought young Guru Crump to his first formal teacher,
Master Kim-jay, and his journey as a dedicated martial artist began. Guru Crump was accepted as Master Kim-Jay’s student, paying for his lessons by doing chores around the Master’s house like mowing his lawn or washing his cars, because Guru Crump’s family could not afford to pay for conventional martial art classes.

Since the day he started training in Master Kim-Jay’s garage, Guru Crump has grown immensely as a martial artist, and as a person. Following the advice of his first teacher, he went out and immersed himself in many martial arts from all over the world. Along this path, he received training from some of the world’s top masters and grandmasters of our time.

With the blessing of his masters, Guru Crump began his quest, to teach the martial arts as a way of life, to improve lives in totality, though his art of CMA.
