This is the first of, hopefully many more collaborative Filipino Martial Arts events in Atlanta. This is an awesome event to attend even if you are new to FMA. There will be four very distinctively different systems being presented. All the instructors live and train in the Atlanta area.

For those of you who don’t know about Baste Carlos and Jemar Carcellar yet, here is some quick info.

Baste Carlos – From Manila, Philippines – trained under “Tatang” Ilustrisimo and Tony Diego, received his instructorship from the late GM Tony Diego of Kalis Ilustrisimo Repeticion Orihinal.
Jemar Carcellar – From Cebu, Philippines – trained under GM Monie Velez and GM Bobby Taboada and received his instructorship from GM Bobby Taboada of Balintawak Cuentada.

Both Brian Brown and Chris Caban should both be somewhat recognizable here in Atlanta. Both have had FMA training groups here for a long time. Brian Brown teaches Cacoy Doce Pares and CTS, and Chris Caban teaches Lucay-Lucay and Inosanto blend.
