On Camera Combatives will be hosting it’s first LEVEL 1 Course in Atlanta – May 10th (Sunday). Full Day event.

Details:
The event will introduce students to the OCC program and teach our fundamentals in: Weapons Use (blunt and blade), Hand-to-Hand Combat, Tactical Movement, Footwork, Stage Fighting, Selling Action, Body Language and more.

We will not just be learning concepts, but applying them. This is a hands on course where we will be working with partners and groups to Get Combative! (On camera of course)

All students will get the chance to be on film (HD Video included) and get photos (Group and Student-Teacher photos included).

About Guro Ernie Lake:

Guro Ernie Lake has been involved with the martial arts for over 20 years. He has studied a wide variety of arts and has incorporated Muay Thai, BJJ, Shooto, Combat Submission Wrestling, Wing Chun Gung Fu, Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune Do Concepts, as well as the Filipino martial arts into his training.

Since 1996 he has been coaching / instructing in the Filipino Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do Concepts, and Jun Fan Gung Fu.

Guro Lake began training with Tuhon Ray Dionaldo in the summer of 2002. Since then he has been honored to become the first Certified Instructor of FCS Kali in Kentucky as well as being named the Northeastern Regional Director for FCS Kali in North America.

Ernie has gone on to accomplish the following:

· Guro in Filipino Combat Systems (FCS) under Tuhon Ray Dionaldo.
· Appointed Northeastern United States Regional Director for FCS Kali.
· Instructor in Inosanto/Lacoste Kali under Guro Dan Inosanto.
· Instructor in Jeet Kune Do Concepts & Jun Fan Gung Fu under Sifu Dan Inosanto.
· Instructor in Maphilindo Silat under Guru Dan Inosanto.
· Head Muay Thai Instructor & Assistant MMA Coach for 4 Seasons Fight Team in Lexington KY.

About Doug Marcaida Kali.

Marcaida Kali is the art we practice. The founder is Kuya Doug Marcaida. Marcaida Kali is heavily based on South East Asian styles. With much of the focus being on Filipino, Malaysian and Indoneasian arts.

Doug Marcaida or “Kuya Doug” as he is affectionally known has over 20 years of Filipino Martial Arts experience. His background extends as a Senior representative for the Kali de Leon methodology of training with Ama Guro Jun de Leon as his teacher, he holds the Mandala Rank in Pekiti Tirsia Kali under GT Leo Gaje Jr. and is an instructor level in San Miguel Eskrima and Babrako Batanguenio Balisong.

He is the VP and head Programs director for SIEGE,inc which teaches Defensive Tactics for Law Enforcement and Security programs in Rochester New York and as Edge Weapons Specialist he has designed Military fighting knife with Ka Bar USA and is the Program director for DCAPS inc dealing with Edge Impact Weapons program with Military and Special Forces. He is currently involved in several U.S. Special Forces weapons combatives program through as company tie in DCAPSIEGE.

He is part of the Kali Hall of Fame under the World Kali council and has received a Presidential commendation from for teaching Joint U.S. and Philippines Marines Forces during the Balikatan exercises. He leads the Brotherhood of the Blade which will be featured training the Russian Spetznas in the Philippines in the upcoming movie “The Bladed Hand” a look at the global impact of Filipino Martial Arts. Kuya Doug is known for his dynamic use of universal principle of Filipino Weapons with Impact Double sticks to Impact (double sticks, sticks) and Edged ( knives, swords) as translated to the Karambit, Tomahawk , Collapsible Baton “The Kali Way ” under the War Eagle Project.
